Erie Lackawanna System Map
The above map is reproduced from a 1967 Erie Lackawanna public system time table. As of this date the Erie Lackawanna was still providing passenger service over the former Erie and Lackawanna routes from Hoboken, NJ to Binghamton, NY with service to Buffalo, NY and points west of Binghamton to Chicago, IL via the former Erie mainline. Oddly, the map still shows the former Lackawanna route from Corning, NY to Buffalo, NY still intact when in fact passenger service had been discontinued several years previous with the route severed between Wayland and Mt. Morris, NY and operated as two branch lines. Click on the above map for a detailed version. Be patient since it is a large image and depending on your connection speed, it may take more than a minute to load.
