ELHS Members Only Site Access
When you access a "Members Only" section of the ELHS web site you will get a login popup box that
prompts you for user name and password.
Your user name is your ELHS member number, only the digits with no "#" before or after.
Your member number is printed on the ELHS publication mailing slip sheet.
Your password will be the first letter of your first name followed by your member number followed by the first
letter of your last name. So, if John Smith's user name/member number is 5678 then his password would be
j5678s.
If you use a prefix, Capt., Rev., etc., it is dropped from your password. For those that go by a first initial and name as
in; J. Paul, the J will be used (as "j") for your password, only lower case letters being used of course.
If your last name has a space in it as it appears on your ELHS publications mailing label, the first letter
of the first word of your last name is used. For instance John Von Smith, Member Number 5679, would have j5679v as
his
password.
John Von Smith, Member Number 5679, would enter the following into the login popup box:
User Name: 5679
Password: j5679v
ELHTS Members who were not already ELHS members have been assigned ELHS member numbers.
If you have not yet been notified of your ELHS member number, please email the ELHS Membership Chairman
using the below email link. Your ELHS password follows the rules above.
Remember that all letters in passwords are all lower case. If you still have problems figuring it
out, please contact the Webmaster. If you
don't know what your ELHS Member Number is, please contact
ELHS Membership
Troubleshooting Login Problems
If you have problems logging in and you are sure that your member number and password are
correct, you can try several things.
Purge your "Temporary Internet Files" and then shut down
and restart all instances of your web browser. If that doesn't work, shut down and restart
your computer. If that doesn't work, you can try a different web browser. If you are using
Internet Explorer, try Firefox or Opera. Make sure your Caps Lock key isn't on, letters are
lower case small letters in passwords.
If all else fails, contact
Henry Priebe. Please include as much detail about the problem as possible including what web browser
you are using (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and at what time you had the problem,
with your time zone.
AOL uses "cache servers" that can cause repeated login failures, the above login
link can sometimes fix this problem. Other suggestions are to minimize AOL and
start Internet Explorer or try a different web browser such as
Mozilla Firefox. We apologize for any difficulty you may have, but we assure you,
our member login DOES work with internet standard software!
