Several flat cars, flat cars w/trailers and trailers have been announced. The road numbers and names are the same as the previous release some years back. Available will be:

50 foot piggyback flat with 40 foot trailer black w/white lettering, lettered for EL 7393 - Item# 37811 and EL 7415 - Item# 37812.
40 foot trailer 2 packs silver w/maroon lettering for EL - Item# 2959.

Fairbanks Morse H16-44 diesel locomotive decorated for the Erie Lackawanna early black and yellow freight scheme. two road numbers will be available, plus a decorated unit without number. Atlas is also offering the model with factory installed, dual mode DCC decoder or without decoder for DC only operation.
Available models are as follows: EL 1932; without decoder - Item# 52057, with decoder - 52109, EL 1935; without decoder - Item# 52058, with decoder - Item# 52110, decorated for EL without number; available only without decoder - Item# 52059.
Estimated delivery is October 2004.
Atlas has released a 2-6-0 Mogul locomotive decorated and lettered for the New York, Lake Erie & Western in an "1880's" scheme. The model features operating headlight, separately applied hand rails and bell and a Russian Iron boiler.

Prime Mover Decals has announced the following new N Scale decal sets will be available shortly: PMD-037-N - EL/DL&W Green Passenger Equipment and PMD-039-N - EL/DL&W Gray/Maroon Passenger Equipment. Both sets will be available direct from the manufacturer and through the Erie Lackawanna Historical Society. |
| The N Scale Architect |
The N Scale Architect has released several products of interest to the DL&W, Erie and EL modeler. In their "Journeyman Series" is EST304 a laser cut wood kit of the Lackawanna's East Stroudsburg Tower.
In their "Master Craftsman" line, they are now producing a Pennsylvania anthracite region laser cut kit of a typical coal breaker. The kit is LCC504, The Lackawanna Coal Company and retails for $149.95.
To compliment the breaker, The N Scale Architect is offering a new series of models of a mine locomotive, mine cars and track components. They call the line M-TRAK See their web site for further details. |

AMB has released detail parts for use with Branchline's 80 foot coaches (see below). Detail items include several styles of replacement window glazing, # 351 open windows, # 352 closed windows and #353 insulated windows, #354 end gates and drip rails, and various etched lavatory windows including #367 for Erie. See the "What's New" section of their web site for details. |

‡Atlas has announced their Fairbanks Morse H24-66 Train Master will be available decorated for the Erie Lackawanna black and yellow early freight scheme. The model will be produced in both the Silver (DC control, DCC ready with NMRA 8-pin plug) and Gold series (DCC dual mode decoder and QSI sound equipped).
Each series will be available lettered for two numbers and painted, unlettered version. For the Silver series, numbers 1853 (Item# 7823), 1856 (Item# 7824) and no number (Item# 7825) will be available. For the Gold series, 1851 (Item# 7717), 1852 (Item# 7718) and no number (Item# 7719) will be available. Estimated delivery is January 2005.
Available soon will be Fairbanks Morse H16-44 road switchers decorated in the Erie Lackawanna early yellow and black freight scheme. The model will include sill mounted handrails approximating those applied by the DL&W and present for all of their EL existence. The models come with a factory installed, 4 function, dual mode DCC decoder and can be used with either DC or DCC control.
The following models will be available: EL 1932 - Item# 9557, EL 1935 - Item# 9558 and decorated without road number - Item# 9559. Estimated delivery is July 2004.
Atlas will be releasing their HO Scale Alco S-2 decorated for the Erie. The model will be available in two road numbers: Item# 8730 will be numbered for Erie 505 and Item# 8731 will be numbered for Erie 520. Estimated delivery is August 2004. Contact your favorite Atlas dealer to order.

Branchline has re-issued their 80 foot coach kit lettered for the Erie in four new road numbers.The kits are available in single car kits (5120) or three kit packs (51203).

| Empire Northern Models |
Empire Northern Models has announced and will soon have available, limited run DL&W F7 AB sets with powered A unit and dummy B unit and single, powered A units. The models are produced and custom decorated by Stewart Hobbies.
Available numbers for the two unit AB sets are: #633 and #636, the single units are: 631-A and 631-C. Two unit sets are priced at $119.95 and single A units are $89.95 each. See their web site for details. |

‡Stewart Hobbies has made two announcements of interest to Erie Lackawanna modelers; First, they have announced plans to produce their Baldwin S-12 decorated in EL gray, maroon and yellow . It will be available in 5 different numbers: 619 (Item# 4934), 621 (Item# 4935), 623 (Item# 4936), 626 (Item# 4937) and 627 (Item# 4938).
The second announcement is Stewart will be producing their GE Phase II U25B decorated in Erie Lackawanna gray, maroon and yellow. This model will be available in 2 engine numbers as yet to be determined.
Expected delivery for either model is not know at this time. |
