Filling yet another gap for the DL&W/EL modeler, the ELHS is pleased to announce availability of an exclusively produced, HO scale model of the DL&W Magor Car Company 40' Express Boxcars available in three numbers. Initially these cars will be offered to ELHS members only.

This group of 40 cars where built by Magor in March 1950. The cars were head end regulars on most DL&W's mainline passenger trains. They could also be found on the trains of the DL&W's through line connection partners. In particular, these cars were frequently found among the head end cars on the Nickel Plate Road's connecting trains, traveling to Cleveland, Chicago and St. Louis. The cars continued in service into the post merger Erie Lackawanna years.

The cars are available immediately to ELHS members through the Online Sales members pages and in the newest Flying Saucer sales flier. The members price is $23.95 each plus shipping and handling. Car numbers are 10013, 10029 and 10039.

Another new ELHS exclusive model is a DL&W pagoda roof wood station kit. This kit was based on the DL&W's Vestal, New York station, but is identical or nearly identical to several other stations on the DL&W, primarily along the mainline in New York State. The station is also a very close match to several Erie stations on the Erie's Wyoming Division in north east Pennsylvania.

The laser cut wood kit features tabbed construction along with peel-and-stick shingles, windows and doors. It is available now through the Online Sales pages or the latest Flying Saucer sales flier. Price is $35.95 for ELHS members and $44.95 for non members.

In addition to the above new ELHS exclusive products, several other new items are also available. Included are several new books, decals a CD with EL track charts, employee timetables and more. Look for the red "New" icon on the sales pages.

The 2007 Erie Lackawanna color calendar is now available for ordering on line from the ELHS. Price is $8.95 for members and $10.95 for non members. Shipping & Handling is $2.00 for the first calendar ordered and $1.00 for each additional calendar.

If you are only ordering one or more 2007 calendars, make sure you use the calendar only "Buy it Now" purchase option. Long desired by HO scale DL&W and early EL modelers has been an accurate detail part representing the emergency signal lights the DL&W applied to its EMD F units. These lights remained in place into the early EL years even as former DL&W EMD F units were painted in the EL's original freight color scheme of yellow and black. The wait is over!

The ELHS has had Details West produce a cast metal detail part representing the emergency signal light which is available exclusively from the ELHS. The part is packaged two per pack and includes two MV Products red lenses which were packaged by the manufacturer exclusively for this emergency light casting.

Pricing for the emergency lights are $3.60 per package of two for members and $4.50 for non-members.

Another ELHS exclusive is an add-on kit for our currently available Waldwick Interlocking Tower kit. The kit and now the add-on, is produced in both HO and N scales. The Modernization kit includes the parts need to modify the base tower kit to its restored appearance. Included are new micro plywood laser cut wall and window sections. You must have or order the base kit in order to take advantage of the add-on kit.

Pricing for the Waldwick Interlocking Tower Add-on kit is for HO; $7.95 for members and $9.95 for non members. For the N scale version of the add-on kit; $6.39 for members and $7.95 for non members.
