Volume One. Author Bernard Sennstrom exhaustively compiled this book with information that he accumulated for many years and with material from the ELHS archive. Very well written book about the history of the Chicago and Atlantic RR, then later under Erie RR control, the “Chicago and Erie RR”. Also includes the Illinois railroad section, with part ownership of the Chicago and Western Indiana Railroad. Published over 30 years ago by the Erie Lackawanna Historical Society.
